Micah’s Story

Micah came to the shelter freshly out of detoxing and short term rehabbing from drug addiction. He spent 86 days with us, and during that time He began a part time job at Food Lion. While saving up money we were also able to help him go through the process to get his ID card and a new Birth Certificate. Micah was always a very respectful man who also became very dependent on God and really worked at growing his relationship with Christ while at the shelter. He was able to save up enough money to move out into his own apartment and also transitioned into a full time job as well.
