Vere’s Story

Vere is one of the many success stories that we have at the DC Shelter every month. Upon entry, a 90 day plan was created to help Vere take the necessary steps needed to secure permanent housing.  He quickly secured a job and began to save money. Ninety days later, with the help of an outside organization, Vere was able to proudly move out of the shelter and into permanent housing. Vere’s story reminds us why we do what we do everyday.
